IEEE is an international organization devoted to technological advancements in the fields of electrical and computer engineering, computer science, and related branches of study. IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization in the world with over 365,000 members and 1,570 global chapters.

The UCSB IEEE Student Branch is dedicated to creating an environment where students can develop and apply their technical and social skills through group projects and informational meetings.

You can find us at Trailer 699 Room 101 (across Harold Frank Hall and behind the EUCR).

Our local student-run chapter’s mission statement is to provide :

  • a social environment where students interested in technology can spend time
  • a lab-space, tools, funding, and help for people to work on projects that need equipment
  • the opportunity to network with industry representatives
  • Membership Fees:

  • $25 for the year if paid by Oct 15th.
  • $40 for the year if paid after.
  • 2016 Spring meetings are in the EUCR at 7:00 PM every Wednesday. Show up if you’re interested!
